If it's changing - and don't rely on my assessment, it would mean that some code is being overwritten, which is very bad. That 'if' statement in the game should be set in stone. It would be quite alarming if the game stopped recognizing that a bullet is hitting the beanster. The other place you can win and fall to your death is in level 8, but I haven't had the patience to try that when I'm not invincible. If I'm not invincible, I usually hang in levels 3 and 4, I may go into 5 just to see how easily I can kill firepower. I don't think invincibility is only linked to falling and dieing. Plus I'll dig into the falling to death code. I'll probably change the code to say that an enemy bullet will damage anything not named 'enemy', just to make sure. Did that happen for you? It could be that the game no longer recognizes a bullet hitting Killer Bean anymore. I think it has something to do with killer Major Firepower and then falling to your death at the same time. the invincibilty bug is something I've encountered that really perplexes me.

In retrospect, releasing on Android first definitely helped me get the kinks out. I may tackle that once I get through the IOS and kindle versions. Also, I'll add a health and ammo box right where you meet Firepower, so you can get back to a good amount of health. Maybe I'll make that area a little bigger so you don't fight an endless line of guys. level 5 does get harder because I randomly spawn enemies until you get into a certain area to stop the spawning.

about the level 5 falling in an endless loop, I think I know how to fix that. I may tackle this once I figure out everthing else. about the fading to black at the ends of levels, it's really supposed to fade all the way to black without stopping, but I think it freezes when loading a new level and leaves a small dot at the end. I really have to dig into the health/lives code. I think this has to be directly related somehow with the invincibilty bug. I might have encountered that before, but maybe I didn't really pay attention in the heat of battle. about having one more life after zero lives left - that I really have to look into. I don't think you should make it any easier, because then it becomes too easy, but IMO only the truly obsessed (or skilled) are going to want to continue shooting their way to level 8 and beyond. Whoever tested this for you must be an uber gamer, because you definitely need some above average skills to get through this.

If I die while navigating inside the building, I have to jump in an arch and do the same to get rid of the respawning enemies, while sitting at a lower level. What's interesting about level 5, is that I spend a lot of time dodging bullets and using the, 'jump straight up, shoot, shoot,shoot, jump straight up, shoot, shoot, shoot' technique to get through certain sections. If I die while navigating inside the building or after I get to firepower, the enemies respawn in that section just before you make the leap into fire power's arena - which makes it 'almost' impossible to get back into firepower's arena with 100% health - and if you've already grabbed all the reloads on the first pass, all you have is regular bullets. In some cases, if I die from falling in between buildings, I'll respawn in between the buildings and continuously fall, die and respawn in an endless loop.Īfter playing level 5 for quite some time, it appears that I need to run it perfectly without dieing in order to complete the level.
